About Echo Thread Projects

Echo Thread Projects is an independent creative house based in NJ, supporting endeavors in literature and music.

We strongly advocate for work from BIPOC creatives and the identities that come with their own histories, ensuring that they feel visible. In providing them visibility, we provide others visibility.

Echo Thread Books publishes chapbook and full-length poetry collections in both perfect-bound and hand-made editions. We release and sell publications independently, although our books will also available via online distributors. If you are not ordering directly from Echo Thread Books, we encourage you to support your local independent booksellers whenever possible. They can contact us to order for you.

These wonderful bookshops are currently carrying Echo Thread Books titles:

Farley's Bookshop  |  New Hope, PA
Kew & Willow Books  |  Queens, NY

If you are a book shop or distributor and would like to carry any of our publications, please email us via the CONTACT page for additional information.

Echo Thread Sounds aims to amplify the creative endeavors of musicians through live music events.

SUBMISSIONS:

Echo Thread Projects is not accepting unsolicited submissions at this time. Please do not send submissions or queries. Please understand that Echo Thread Projects is a very small entity run by a team of one (with occasional assistance), and we want to give everyone's work a fair opportunity for review. In lieu of open submissions, we do our best to stay active in the creative spheres and listen to recommendations from fellow authors, musicians, and organizers in order to keep an eye and ear out for work that would be a good fit for our mission. When an open call takes place, we will announce this via our website, Instagram, and email newsletter (which you can sign up for here).

Echo Thread Projects  is committed to the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI) and affirms the rights of the Palestinian people. View our full statement here.
