eso malflor (b.1994) is a queer, non-binary transgender, and first-generation Mexican-Norwegian-American conceptual artist from Houston, Texas, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They work in a range of media that includes painting, photography, performance, sculpture, and installation to make visual and material parallels between the human body and the earth-body, in hopes that we can start to see ourselves as a part of the land, and the land as a part of us.

eso will be publishing their debut chapbook through Echo Thread Books in the winter of 2024.
